360º IMMERSIVE
PROJECTION MAPPING ROOM
The application of 360º projection mapping created an immersive and event defining space that elated guests all evening.
What started out as a medium sized side room became the main attraction after activation of the walls and floors with the creative usage of projected light.
THE EXPERIENCE
Truly a lounge with a view the room became a spot to sit, chill, conversate, and to be entertained.
Overall the room was thoroughly enjoyed all evening and became a talking point as well as photogenic destination.
“Thank you! We are so happy with how the party turned out, thank you for your work on this awesome night!”
∆ Kelsey, Integrated Production Coordinator, DNA Seattle
THE SYSTEM
With such an intimate space it was crucial the equipment was discrete and out of the way.
Shadows, cables, and otherwise 4th wall breaking elements were all hidden so that the experience shone through.
From custom painted projector stands, to integrated computer systems, all the way through the reflective covering on the floor; it was essential to dial in all of the details.
Overall 6 projectors were employed to evenly illuminate the entirety of the walls inside the room.
THE CONTENT
As important as every other aspect the visual content had to shine.
Starting in a new room meant building up the looks from scratch using measurements and a 3D model. This workflow facilitated the generation of content that was true to the space.
These visuals were then able to be accurately presented to the client for official sign-off with a loop running a total of 30 minutes.
Scenes included a treatise on outer space, TRON inspired aesthetics, optical illusions, lush jungles, and adventures in coral reefs.
